Very beautiful trail, the forests are amazing; worth it! Technically not hard - seen the occasional normal car pass by - but very rocky and offroad tires on low pressure are probably more comfortable plus easier on your vehicle. Low gear not necessary, but handy on all the descents. BTW: the last few kilometers of the trail have been paved recently, but otherwise almost completely offroad.
