Itinerary description
(ENG) This trail could be a part of a day trip from Barcelona with family & kids. The trail starts at the Susqueda Dam, located in the Les Guilleries forest (in-between the Volcanic park of Garrotxa and Montseny) and it is 1:30 min drive from Barcelona. Starting point at the dam has nice views and it is a place where kids can stretch their legs and run around. Trail is accessible to SUVs with adequate ground clearance (no gear reduction required)
After a stop at the dam, the trail leads you up the hills. On the way, there are a number of places for a picnic - from a quarry right at the start of the trail to a number of excellent spots with grass and nice views. Don't forget to grab food before getting there otherwise there are no places where to get food until the very end of the trail (in Sant Marti Sacalm).
