Itinerary description
If you don't wanna take the 100km detour from the canyon to Hisma, you can drive straight through the desert. The track is pretty easy and not as "duned", like it'll be shown in Google Maps. The track is mostly flat, less soft sand and lots of harder surfaces. Nevertheless a 4x4 is required. No need for deflating the tyres, though.
If you follow the track as it is, you'll pass the fabolous mushroom rock as well.
