Itinerary description

Birdwatching route to discover one of the most important bird wintering areas in the Iberian Peninsula. There are good chances to see thousands of geese, including some rarer ones such as Pink-footed or Bean Geese, Common Cranes or dryland specialities such as Great Bustard or Sandgrouses. Even if the route can be done with a regular car (high clearance), caution should be taken when driving along the dirty roads, avoiding them after rainy periods.
