Itinerary description
Special Permit from the Ministry of Defense must be obtained in order to take this trip. The road is opened in a rocky terrain, so be careful from sharp rocks on the road. Otherwise this is a pleasant trip in an unspoiled part of Albania ( apart from some temporary buildings specially operating during summer) .

Do you need a permit to walk? Or only to drive? How do you obtain the permit? Thanks!
To got through the base you need a permit from MoDefence. To walk just go around the base. It is a bit longer though.
Thank you! Just to make sure I understand: I don't need a permit to walk?
No but you have to go around the base. It is a bit long. I make a trail in googlemaps for you.
I made a screenshot but cannot upload it. From Marmiroi church follow the pond to the base.
Be careful of the snakes

Hi, could you please explain how to get the permit to cross the "Naval Base Pasha Liman"
Thanks
Nico
You must apply at Ministry of Defence. There are beurocratic prcedures to go through. It is better walking or get a boat to St. Vasil Bay. Boat costs 20 euros. If walking go around the navy base.
I sneaked in by saying the guard at the gate that i will visit Oric the ancient town inside the base but instead i went further inside the peninsula. PS. They take your passport at the entrance.
