Great trials today, some of the best scenic routes you can take in a 4x4. Finishing at Camping Isabena, this is a great base for lots of routes around the mountains. Very popular with off-road motorbikes and a BMW training centre. Despite the groups of bikers, we've stayed there twice and had peaceful nights both times.
Nice clean facilities and stunning surroundings.

Excellent trail, a little technical, low range on the way down, also beware the cows and bull and the bottom of the trail, the bull is VERY protective! The water crossing where the cows drink is not very deep.

We did the trail in a t4 syncro a little difficult sometimes but not a problem didn't even need the maxtrax
Hi, I am thinking of doing this solo this August in a Defender 110 (Boltana to Isabena) - other than needing to go into low range, how much more technical is it please? Many thanks

Very enjoyable trail, some parts not for Suv's, but factible for any real 4x4 even without modifications. Very well marked mate, I loved all the notes!
