Itinerary description

First Part:
From Sant Martí Sacalm is very easy and more or less just an unpaved road in good condition. Should be no problem with SUV or higher clearance vehicle. (No guarantee from my side.)
When reaching the dam at the lake, there should be the oppertunity to drive back on normal road to Amer. (Not tried myself.)
Second part:
From Presa de Susqueda to Salt de Sallent. Starts as track in good conditions running along the shape of the lake. somewhere there is a Stine build bridge crossed. From that part track goes up the hill all the time, sometimes track narrows due to plants and bushes on the side (potential risk of some scratches on the car) also the track goes stepper upwards with some 180 degree turns and rough gravel. All doable, but I would not recommend without 4x4. When reaching 42deg00'12.4"N 2deg29'14.8"E the track opens again and turns into easier forest trail again until Salt de Sallent. If you are tired Offroad driving here, just follow the paved road to Rupit directly after visiting the Waterfall. If you still have not enough
Third part:
Crossing Salt de Sallent and drive through the forest to road C-153. Here it gets a little harder again, especially when wet this can be a muddy track, I could imagine.
Also, as we discovered when reaching C-153 it says we have been driving on a private road. There was no sign from the direction we came from.
So you might just want to skip Third part and drive to Rupit on paved road.
Special Hint:
After doing the tour on a clear day, visit Mirador El Far. Here there is a beautiful view of the complete area you crossed and als the starting point.
All in all a trip for a complete day with different degree of difficulty but beautiful landscape.
Try it on your own risk. 😉

Gràcies i les millors salutacions.

    Salut!
