Itinerary description
I posted a shorter and more direct track, accessible with sedan car, here https://www.wikiloc.com/car-trails/the-iris-fields-of-tumayr-direct-access-95743764
From http://www.simbacom.com/riyadh-ksa/outside/iris.html
The actual location of the field that we found is 25°38'51.3"N 45°53'35.7"E
(25.647593, 45.893238 in google maps)
This track includes an offroad tour beyond the field.
PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY:
The iris flowers are visible around the end of February or early March.
The flowers open for only a couple of hours each day. If you go to the fields in the morning you will see very little except for thousands of onion-like leaves sticking out of the ground. Around 1pm on a sunny day, or up to an hour later on overcast days, the irises suddenly open out en masse. Come four o’clock they close up once more until the following day.
