Itinerary description
Great hike along a well-marked trail up past Ratsek hut and onto the pass at the top of Ak-Sai glacier. We began late afternoon on day 1 and hiked up to the camping area just before Ratsek and set up camp there. Day 2 we climbed from our tent up to the foot of the glacier, then on to the top of the glacier, and back to our tents where we spent another night. On day 3 we descended back to the Ala-Archa hotel. It was a tough hike, but beautiful.
