Itinerary description
One the most challenging trails in Mauritius. Park your car near the Black River Gorges Information Centre and walk 500m backwards - a very discrete entrance. Quite steep climb during the next 2km at least, with a metal ladder on the way. Amazing view from the top. Proceed behind the peak towards the Macchabé Loop Trail. After Mare Aux Joncs water, the hike gets very technical part. Finally, choose the Pilgrim's trail for an exciting end to this 10 km journey!
