Itinerary description
I took the last chair of the day at Hovden with my kite and launched near the peak. The wind was very steady 6 to 7 m/s from the SE with knee deep powder. Scored more untouched powder in an hour than I did over the previous 2 days of gravity riding. Packed up the kite just as it was getting dark and took the main run back down to the carpark. I'll definately be going back as it is easy to access and it is so much fun to kite in steep terrain! Also because there are cross country ski trails everywhere you can use them to get home if the wind dies and you are stuck in deep pow.
