Itinerary description
This is the trail to lake Manaro on the island of Ambae in Vanuatu. The other lake, Vui, is where the volcano crater is. The trail starts in the village of Lolofange and goes to the top, then down through Ambanga and Duviara Guesthouse back to Lolofange. It is possible to camp at the top. It is cold and very often rainy. Near the top, another trail, easy to spot, branches off to the right to go to lake Vui. Guides can be arranged in Lolofange or Ambanga.
