Itinerary description
Niesen (CH) - Verbier
A tourist route flying around Leysin, above Villeneuve then a low save at Villars. Took ages to bust the inversion despite a west facing slope in the afternoon with a nice breeze.
Afterwards, the renowned valley wind to negotiate, of unknown intensity at the time.
A low save over martigny drifted me nicely towards Verbier, but I concerned about the potential heavy leeside turbulence if I drifted on over the ridge. Very strong winds in the valley, avoid landing here!
