J07 ~ Tuesday 22/12 The Exumas - Allans Cay 36.3 nautical
Azure sky, temperature 26 ° rising to 30 °, wind SE 10/12 knots in the morning then 14/16 knots in the afternoon. Chopped sea.
After 8 days waiting for the end of a gale, the moorings are dropped at 8 am and our Queequeg sailboat descends the pass between Providence Island and Paradise Island to reach the open sea. While the wind blows constantly full face, it is a pleasant navigation while three other sailboats cross to the Exumas with us. We will make the whole journey with the engine supported by the GV.
Anchorage between the islands and islets of Allans Cay in turquoise blue water with white sandy bottoms at less than 2.50 meters at 4:45 pm This evening we share our anchorage with two Canadians and one Austrian but there is has so much room ...
