J18 ~ Saturday 02/01 The Exumas - Great Guana Cay (Jacks Bay) 4.5 nautical
Azure sky, temperature 26 °, weak wind ESE 9/10 knots, sea beautiful.
We have to leave this nice village of Black Point whose inhabitants are very welcoming to take the road to the South. The anchor is hoisted at 9 am and the engine is along the west coast of Great Iguana. We dock at 10 o'clock in Jacks Bay in 2.20 meters deep, close to a bunch of coral. This is an opportunity for a nice snorkeling session and we will not be disappointed as the coral fish were numerous and varied.
After a meal of fish bought at Black Point, nap then we land on the beautiful beach of Jacks Bay. Exploration then new swimming and snorkeling along the rocky part, less rich in fish.
It's a pleasant late evening when we are alone with a Canadian motorboat whose owners came to greet us at the beginning of the afternoon.
