J28 ~ Tuesday 12/01 Long Island - Sims 30.8 nautical
Sky a little overcast with a lot of altocumulus, temperature 26 °, wind SE, 8/10 kts then 4/10, swell to leave the lake of George Town, sea beautiful.
We leave our owl early early because the stage is long, crossing several sailboats coming wet here anticipating the gale northeastern expected Thursday. Winding course requiring attention to avoid the coral reefs and enter the Exuma Sound we leave a little further to enter the lagoon in front of the South of Great Exuma and Little Exuma. At the southern end of the Exumas after greeting White Cay, we leave the Exumas archipelago to cross the Sound and reach the west coast of Long Island.
Mooring in front of the small village of Simms and swimming. Some fish and especially starfish. Superb sunset.
