Leknes, located in the geographical medium of the Lofoten Islands, is the administrative center of the municipality of Vestvågøy in the province of Nordland in Nord-Norge.
The Trollfjord is only 100 meters wide with a depth of 800 meters being surrounded by mountains whose height varies between 600 and 1100 meters. It is the habitat of a large number of birds including osprey.
Svolvaer is the heart of the Lofoten Islands, where the great cod fisheries in winter have always been the basis of its economy.
In Vikten you can visit a beautiful white sand beach.
