Itinerary description
Sailing Playa Anclon to Playa Coson, passing by the Islas Ballenas. You can launch a dinghy or inflatable sailboat from the beach. Take care to pass between areas of shallow reef/breakers on the way from Playa Anclon to the deeper water. The prevailing easterly wind carries you to the Islas Ballenas. There does not appear to be a good place to tie a boat at the islands, which are solid rock. After passing the islands, turn south toward Playa Coson. Landing is easy on the sandy beach there.
