Itinerary description

This was my first snowshoeing after my surgery. And the last one for 2019 season. The hike started from Wardeh, Kfardebian ski lift. The trail went up in parallel to the ski lift; the ascent was close to 500 meters; once at the top, the trail leveled off until we reached the red slope of La Cabane, Faraya ski resort. the group (two of us :) ) went down red slope and into La Cabane then back to the car closing the loop.
You could see St. Charbel statue from La Cabane (see waypoints). The snow was hard in the morning which made our snowshoeing a bit easier then as we progressed through the day, the sun turned the snow into a heavy wet snow making our outing a bit difficult.
The weather was sunny with blue sky and could have been a perfect skiing day for those who love the sport but unfortunately, we were the only two crazy people on the mountains.
