Itinerary description
This was supposed to be the first snowshoeing adventure of 2022 and what a better place to start than in Mount Kneisseh.
The first snow storm was a few days ago and to our surprise when we got there, there was little to no snow; but when life gives you a lemon, you make lemonade. Chris and I turned this into a half-hike half snowshoeing adventure starting from the Flag Hill all the way up to the bombed TV Channel 11 building taking the highlands and back taking the lowland. The descent from the TV Channel 11 building to the lowlands was a bit challenging with patches of frozen (north face) face posing a "no room for mistake" risk where you could end up 400 meters below and not necessarily in one piece.
Views were great and the weather helped with clear sunny skies and temperature around the lower teens.
this trail, this time of the year and conditions, id D IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
