Beginners snow shoe activity in La Molina Ski resort.
La Molina is Located in the Alp area of the Cerdanya county and together with Masella forms the Alp 2500 resort. la Molina has 71 kilometres of skiable runs distributed over 68 slopes. The resort has slopes for all levels, for adults and children. La Molina also offers a range of activities for non-skiers such as snow shoe routes, Segway on snow and scenic cable car rides.
La Molina also hosts international events such as the Alpine Skiing World Cup (2008), the Snowboard World Championship (2011) or the Disabled Alpine Skiing World Championships (2013). Spain was also bidding to host the 2030 winter Olympics but has since withdrawn this application.
La Molina is a village in the mountains with many hotels, hostels and regugi's (Mountain huts).
La Molina operated the first ski lift in Spain, opened on 28 February 1943 and Spain's first ski school.
