Itinerary description
A great winter walk best done with raquettes (snow shoes) due to depth of snow. This walk takes you from the navette stop in La Plagne down into the pretty river gorge before climbing through Vernay and past the Cordon ski area to the car park/navette stop at Dandry. The return can be by a different equally pretty trail forming part of the Boucle de Dandry. Other snow show trails link to this route. The walk offers great views over the surrounding mountains, Mont Blanc, Rochers de Fizz, Chaine d'Aravis and Aiguille de Midi.
