Itinerary description
First snowshoeing to Qornet Es Sawda this season. From Dahr El Qadib to Qornet Es Sawda and back, around 21 km, 611 m ascent. No technical difficulty but the wind and cold are always there to drag you out of your comfort zone. We reached the summit around 1 pm. The temperature was 0 degree Celsius but the real feel was around -5. Always be prepared for a sudden storm there even if the sun is shining on the coast.

Hello Rami. Next week I will go to Lebanon and I want to enjoy of this mountain. Please, can you share with me the options to go up Qornet es Sawda next week? Without snow material? Thanks a lot!!!

@dinoga1197: Sorry for the late reply. I don't know if you already did it but there is still lot of snow up there and it is hard to do it without snowshoes.
