Itinerary description
Akasya / Lake Trail
Beautiful snowshoeing loop around the lake. We parked the car ar the entrance of the “Akasya” trail, as the road was blocked with snow..
We made our way up to the lake. Snowshoes were a must, the trail was totally covered and not very recognizable if not done before without snow. The lake was totally covered with snow.
We made it all the way to the parking entrance of the lake and made our way back down to the car on the main road which was totally covered with snow as well.
Beautiful scenery and good physical effort…
Recommended for people with a minimum of fitness level at least.
