Itinerary description
“El Cable” is the top platform where the Fuente Dé cable car reaches. Our intention was to walk to the refuge Verónica, but we were advised not to do so due to avalanche risk. Plenty of snow and very cold temperature to be early April. We walked around the platform with our snowshoes, just for fun. Returning to the lower station we wanted to walk to the Invernales de Igüedri (see waypoint) but had so much mud ("biological" horse mud), and it was impossible. The profile of the route includes the ascent and descent of the cable car
