Nice walk near Rotsundelv

Lyngen Alps. Jaegervatnet and its tray

Lyngen Alps: Short tour between Straumen and Russelv
Lyngen Alps: Russelv, the lighthouse.
Lyngen Alps: Very nice hike in Lyngsdalen.

Lyngen Alps: Rottenvikvatnet: very beautiful hike, the most beautiful of the stay?

Lyngen Alps: Sor-Lenangen. nice ride

The "Lyngen Alps" are an absolutely remarkable and beautiful protected area, a kingdom for ski touring or downhill skiing without a lift. Athletes do not "hiking", they go up in sealskin to go down the slope on skis or snowboard. They have surfboards that can be split in two to "ski" up.
Now the region is splendid to explore.
Three apps are recommended: Norgeskart, Varsom regobs, Troms reise.

Vatnet, vatnet, vatnet... the first part of the walk is really nice and original but the part along the lake is a bit long, especially since we are not really along the lake. It was too hot and the lake was too "wet" to walk on without soaking your shoes.
The Braheivatnet and the plateau are very beautiful. We saw traces of elk, but no elk.
When the avalanche danger is at its highest, the walk remains possible because the steep slopes are in birch forests.
Ride inspired by Svensby 2000 and Norgeskart.
If you use this route, please rate it so we can improve.
Good walk.
