Itinerary description
Pass the road closed barrier, and ascend using the paths to cut off the switch backs. To join the GR93 to cross the Coll La Saume. This path is narrow and crosses steep scree and snow fields. (Should have had avi gear with us) steep snow field to the Coll. Over the col the terrain eases with some snow fields down the the road. Back up the road to col Noyer. (Closed) then some steep switchbacks full of snow and heavy rock fall, travel with care. At the end of the first long switch back we followed the vvt circuit then the nature trail down through the wood. Stunning views back up to the ridge.
