Itinerary description

A beautiful loop in Qehmez/Hrajel area during this amazing winter season. We parked near Jabal moussa reserve Qehmez bifurcation and we started our way up on a snowy trail. Snowhoes are mandatory because even with snowshoes we had a tough time with the fluffy snow. You will pass next to few houses before finding yourself on a wide white plateau. Keep your left for a while then start a tough ascent to join the LMT before going down to the valley of Jerd Hrajel. Do not continue there on the LMT. Instead, turn sharp right and walk among apple trees fields. Another ascent is waiting for you to reach a mountain pass where you will have magnificent views of the mountains around. The descent from here is pleasant and you have to join the trail back. Do not attempt to go directly down to the road because there's a risky cliff there. Enjoy and stay safe!
