Itinerary description
Nothing beats an outing in the snow after a 3 consecutive mighty storms that lasted over two weeks with heavy snowfall.
With fresh air, blue sky, snowflakes sparkling in the sunshine and the sound of our shoes forging new paths, the journey was impeccable with awe surroundings. The amount of snow was astonishing.
From the Ehden main roundabout to reach the reserve entrance, there's a 10mins distance road that was stacked with snow and partially opened. We called the reserve and they were managing to provide 4*4 vehicles that are very well equipped to transport us.
Its a small loop that indulged us with lovely memories and plenty of astonishing views and paths on fluffy fresh snow that was stacked for over 1.8m depth.
The ascents are moderate and we were wandering on slow pace, enjoying the moment and didnt take any break.
