Itinerary description
A stunning snowshoe walk above the Izere Valley starting from Sainte Foy ski station on a level gradient to the village of Planay Dessus before climbing up towards the Plan Bois ski area and returning by a different route. The route passes through open snowfields and pretty forests, crossing several streams (draines). The descent can be difficult due to steepness, particularly if thin snow and ice present.
