<<< English follows >>> Ruta con raquetas de nieve. Empezamos en el complejo de esquí de fondo de Somport. La semana anterior hubo una gran nevada y hay más de un metro de nieve. Empezamos siguiendo la pista de raquetas de nieve de la estación. El uso de la pista cuesta 5 euros (2015), pero si vas con un guía, entonces es gratis. No es un día muy frío. La parte francesa de la ruta es peculiar ya que es el parque natural y el urogallo es la estrella. Hay zonas con pasos completamente restringidos porque hay nidos de urogallo. Por el contrario, al otro lado de la frontera, se encuentra la ruidosa estación de esquí de Candanchú. Y también está la zona militar donde se realizan prácticas de tiro. Paradoja, ¿no? La ruta en sí no es compleja o cansada. Discurre entre pinos y hayas, como es habitual en esta zona de los Pirineos. En un momento hemos probado nuestros transceptores ARVA, enterrándolos para simular la búsqueda de víctimas de aludes. La verdad es que el dispositivo es muy sencillo de utilizar y fiable. El inconveniente es el precio, todavía son caros. Esta vez Yolanda se unió a nosotros. Nuestro guía es nuestro amigo Paco, de Pirinea Nordic. The previous week there was a big snow and there are more than a meter of snow. We started following the snowshoes track of the station. The French part of the route is unusual in that it is natural park and the grouse is the star. There are areas with completely restricted passages because there are grouse's nests. The route itself is not complex or tired. It goes across between pine and beech, as usual in this area of the Pyrenees.
