Itinerary description

This is the winter trail between the two huts via the 7 Rila lakes. Make sure you are properly equipped in winter! Check the weather and call Ivan Vazov hut for up to date information on snow cover and reservations for overnight. Use GPS but also follow the poles.
Note: From Pionerska hut you can take the chairlift to Rila lakes hut.
