Itinerary description
A three hour river trail starting with a creek like feel and transitioning to the larger Willamette River.
Swimming holes, a rope swim and islands are ready to explore and keep clean.
Paddlers should be comfortable with basic balancing and an understanding of proper paddling techniques. Leash safety should be understood. This route offers a good opportunity to practice paddling... bracing, peel outs, eddy turns and ferrying.
Before transition to the main Willamette, paddlers should feel more comfortable transitioning into currents.
