Itinerary description
Beautifull easy rideable off-road route which starts just before the entrance on the Italian side of the Tende tunnel.The beginning of the trail is also accessible by driving through the tunnel to France and by taking the more spectacular hairpin partly gravel and tarmac road ; https://nl.wikiloc.com/routes-enduro/col-de-tende-colle-di-tenda-france-italy-8km-31682935 On the map this is indicated as black (6th pic). The route leads you along the fortresses "Fort Central" and "Fort Marguerie" and the Baisse d'Ourne and Baisse de Peyrefique and ends in village Tende (France).

At the moment a new tunnel is being drilled and build. Due to that the French entrance is not accesible at the moment. Expect some traffic difficulties in mid Summer season.

Depends on the weather but in the dry this great trail is easy to do on a big bike, I have done it solo on my Super Ténére and with a passenger on my Caponord RallyRaid.
