Itinerary description
Beautiful, scenic trail that gets you up close and personal with the mountains around Red Rock without paying the entrance fee. Easy enough for normal passenger vehicles as evidenced by the 9 cars in the parking area even though it is a little rocky in sections. Although, a friend and I recently watched a lost college student take his Ford Mustang across Lovell Summit looking for his buddies so I guess anything is possible if you're determined enough. Only words of caution are to look out for mountain bikers and the large cholla cactus growing right on the edge of the trail.
