Itinerary description
Ever have a trail that you've passed a few times and always wanted to see where it went? And then when you did, you had to ask yourself "Why in the h*ll did I do that??". This is that trail. The first section starts out tight and rocky and gets progressively worse. I thought I was in the clear when I crested the hill but that was wishful thinking as the decent down the back side was 10 times worse. Man, is this trail tore up. Although none of it is particularly extreme there are numerous long sections that are 1st gear rock-crawls. I freely admit that I have zero off-road 4x4 experience but I couldn't help but think that even a well equipped Jeep would be hard pressed in sections -- especially the ones with beach ball sized boulders in the middle of the road. I would definitely not recommend this trail to anyone who is emotionally attached to their tires. Sorry, I don't have any photos of the worst sections as I was too busy trying to stay upright.
