Itinerary description
One of my favorite places to go play. Only a 15 minute ride from the South end of town and the lake itself is hard-packed dirt that taunts you to blast across it as fast as you dare. A popular destination for quads, buggies, moto-crossers and remote control planes. There are a lot of other trails in the area if you want to make a day of it and it is not uncommon to find a few RVs hanging out for the weekend. If you have small kids or someone learning to ride, this is the perfect place. Be cautious of visiting after a rain of any sort. The dried mud has the consistency of powdered sugar when broken up and I wouldn't go anywhere near it on a bike if it was wet.
