Itinerary description
Te trail begins a few miles West of Moapa on Highway 168 and consists of three parts, about a mile on well paved road, an unmaintained asphalt road (about 8 miles), an unmaintained county road and a few sections of railroad road. The unmaintained asphalt road would be hazardous for trailers, and the unmaintained country road varies from very nice and fast to barely crawling along. There are several water crossings. One was impossible except for the insane.
I would not suggest going through any closed gates - and there is absolutely no way to get around a railroad gate.
The trail does not go all the way to Carp. It's short by about two miles.
