Itinerary description
This is one of the most picturesque and charming trail I've ever posted. The road is extremely well taken care of. It winds through the mountains and meadows and ends in Elgin which now only consists of a single schoolhouse. From there, there is a paved road to Caliente (20miles) and a road West to Alamo (35 miles). There are absolutely NO services or people on the Mormon Mountain Trail. Make sure people know where you are.
