Itinerary description
Mule Team Trail is a trail just off Highway 190 approximately 5 miles from the Intersection of Badwater Road. It is a very well maintained one-way dirt road approximately 3 miles long that winds through yellow hills made of borax and aluminum ore. The road is suitable for any type of vehicle.
You will be lucky to find a single plant during the entire trip. The starkness of the beautiful light yellow hills is remarkable. There are many places to pull over for pictures or hiking.
