Itinerary description
Went in the summer from Plymouth-Santander on ten day trip. Campsites en-route.
mainly off road as much as possible. From Santander to solares is on road and the bottom loop into portugal. We did deviate from this main track as tracks are everywhere once in the mountains ( just look at the black lines on on your gps)

I did a similar trip in early July, may try this one next year.
Met John at Santander docks, he had just arrived. I was after r weeks returning on my Tiger800. He was very helpful, looking to do the Picos route in May 2019. Thanks John. Rgds Mark.

Hi Mark. Glad you found this site. This particular track has been put together from two weeks of riding using roads to join up the off road tracks. It’s very enjoyable and can be used as something to follow and to add on other off road tracks if wanted. It is not difficult but sometimes remote which is why I classed it as moderate.
