Itinerary description
This run starts with a 5.5km uphill stretch on a track that is mainly in good condition but has a few areas where the surface has been badly affected by the machinery that is being used to clear the trees after last years fire.
Currently there is a notice at the end of the downhill stretch barring bikes and pedestrians because of the heavy machinery being used to clear the burned trees. However, there is no work in progress at weekends and I passed other runners and cyclists .
Parking is now in a limited area beside the Tiro de Pichon arch at the start of the run. I arrived at 7am and was the only car there but the parking area was completely full by the time I returned .
