Itinerary description

Apolpaina-Mellisa Gorge
A nice route from Apolpaina to Melissa Gorge through country roads and muddy sections.Olive trees,cypresses and pines gives their shadow to your steps.The nicest part is at the middle of the course where you find Melissa Gorge and some beautiful trails through it,even if you take Apetasti(1klm)Trail part or Kako Lagadi(2klm-Better choice)part.
Be careful at Kako Lagadi cause there's wooden bridges in bad condition and at this part there's no phone signal so it's better your activity be known to somebody.
If you cross the stream near the start o Kako Lagadi you pass the Damari section of the course that you find the last ascent (1klm) till you meet country roads that leads again to Apolpaina with view of Akarnanika mountain ridge.If you are a runner this is a nice ascenty course if you are not its still a nice ascenty course.
