Itinerary description
This was meant to be a simple classic loop around Höchturm, but the eastern north facing path up to Furggele pass was covered with hard packed iced snow.
Normal snow is no problem but this time of the year it melts during sun hours and it freezes in the night so what you find in the morning can be quite slippery.
The 17.9km loop became a double loop in order to check the otherside... the western path to Furggele is oriented south and was clear of snow.
