Itinerary description
Very runnable circular route with about 6 km of asphalt as you get out of and into Goldau.
Done in 2 hr. 54 min. of moving time (8.9km/h).
The path that follows the north side of the Rigi is mostly lined by trees. The path starts as double track and then turns into a comfortable single track. It is quite frequented by mountain bikes. It is quite steep terrain so in a couple of spots which are not tree covered you may see the occasional drop but the fact that mountainbikers use it gives you a sense that it is a comfortable single trail.
It leads into Seebodenalp and then does a loop around the Panorama Trail in Seebodenalp. No trees in Seebodenalp so pretty good circular views.
Finally it takes route 63 up to Rigi Kulm and then an easy trail down followed by Cow grazing meadows, but with good views of the rest of Rigi, Mythen, Lauerz as there are no trees there.
The last bit is the usual route down to Goldau via Dächli.
