Itinerary description
Start in one of the various car parks of the Gotthard Pass (free)
This is a classic route, with one extra detour
The first kilometre is going in the direction of Hospental until you turn left. You will see the large concrete structure of a dam. The path lies to the right of the dam as you go down the coble stone old road.
You follow the red white markings onto a narrow asphalted road that goes up towards the dam and then the red white path will be to your right.
From that point onward you need to just follow red white markings.
From memory I think there is only one fork in the path network and it was properly signalled
I added a tour to Lago della Sella. The flat stretch by the lakeside may be a little boring but after you get up the hill you get pretty nice few and a small narrow path coming down on to the dam.
The 5 lake section is one where you will find people, the Lago della Sella you will see much less walkers. Good views there of Pizzo Centrale, though.

5 Lake Pizol
