Itinerary description
Starting from Kampos, where asphalt/concrete road ends (there are some signs for the trails - see photo). Going with very good path until Panavlies, where trails splits. Taking right, is a more forgotten path that in few hundred meters becomes a bit wild, all the way to Diapori. Awesome views from the north-west edge of the island!
Back via Amerikanous beach (a well known free camping beach in Syros), and from there back to Panavlies again with a good path. Kampos-Amerikanous beach is very often used by hikers and free campers, so no problem there. The rest of the loop is a bit wild and needs some focus on searching the correct path.
