Karawatha Forest Forbidden Trails, Logan City, Brisbane
Trail running one of my favourite local haunts. This is just a beautiful hiking, trailrunning, biking place with so many routes to choose from.
On this route I visit The Rocky Lookout, The Water Prison (aka Reservoir), The Forbidden Quarry Dam, and finally Poets Rock. A great little circuit almost 14kms.
I did make one navigational error (but who cares) and had to backtrack a little.... You'll see it on the map. Also, GPS glitched a little like a doctor's cardiogram machine near the ascent at Logan Motorway... I've already gotten over it just like you will. 😎
Was a hot one today at 36 degrees with humidity and little breeze... Really felt it slowing me down. 😕
No need for any major notes on this really. Just do it and live on the edge.
