Itinerary description
La Barranca is a valley located on the foot of La Bola del Mundo and La Maliciosa. It's part of Sierra de Guadarrama national park.
In this track we started in El Ventorrillo (a parking by the road M601, pic.1) and continued the way uphill until El Mirador de las Canchas (pic.2), where the same way goes downhill. We continued until the parking of La Barranca, where we took a way on the left with a chain that continues downhill (pic.3), until a gate for caws and a junction of ways. There we took the left one and when you arrive to a green gate located on the left (pic.4), you turn right by a narrow way close to a fence. When we almost arrived to the road (when we see it), we took another way on the left (pic.5) until we arrived to the end: the road. We crossed it and took another short and narrow way on the left until a paved street. We took this street on the right crossing the village (Becerril de la Sierra), until we saw a drug store on the left: there we took the left downhill way straight to home.
The track is mainly unpaved (until we arrived to Becerril de la Sierra) and downhill from El Mirador de las Canchas.
