Itinerary description
The only real technical section starts after Col du Mont Lachat where the single track crosses a scree and goes up to a rocky section with chains, a cool iron stair. If the terrain is dry I believe it can be done perfectly without climbing gear. Once you reach the saddle you'll enjoy a breathtaking view to Tête Rousse base camp and hut and Refuge du Gouter.
